Meet Angel..

UPDATE 3/26/08:  Angel is doing much better now and has adjusted well to the others she is bunking with.  She still has the motherly instincts by going up to some of the other dogs and cleaning their faces and ears.  She is very loving and just wants you to love her back.  She probably needs a "quiet home" with no children just so she can be the laid back lazy basset gal she should be.  Angel has been thru a lot in her lifetime and deserves to be treated like a queen.  She loves to sleep in the bed with you if you will let her.  If you might be interested in learning more on this wonderful girl, please contact us at abbr_rescue@yahoo.com

Harley is a 3 year male who unfortunately is almost totally blind due to untreated glaucoma.  He has been evaluated by our vets and is on some medication to try to reduce the swelling in one eye in hopes of restoring some vision to that eye.  The vets have recommended removing both eyes if the medicine doesn't work.  If you would like to help with his expenses, please contact us at abbr_rescue@yahoo.com
